SYSTEM SOFTWARE

The quality of an Integrated Security System is most apparent when operating and maintaining the system software. Creative Technologies has invested extensive resources to develop applications specific to the corrections industry. Click on the links below to view the software available and a brief description.

A Creative Technologies Integrated Security System is made up of three software applications. Each application plays an individual role in the overall system performance. Each of these applications is listed and described below.

Security System Control (SSC-02)

Graphical software for monitoring, alarm handling, and controlling a facility's security system.

Security System Administration (SSA-02)

Graphical software for the configuration and administration of the security control system; reviewing historical system activity, configuring operator permissions, and graphically monitoring system activity.

Security System Documentation (SSD-02)

Graphical software for interactive use of the security system documentation and maintenance data.

INTERFACE BOARDS

Most of the hardware that goes into a Creative Technologies System is readily available from multiple manufacturers. However, to date we have been unable to find a manufacturer of interface products to meet our standards. Therefore, we have chosen to design our own interface boards to complete our "total solution".

In order to insure the highest standards of quality, functionality, and above all safety, our interface boards are UL Recognized. These boards are designed for standard 19" E.I.A. mounting, maximum rigidity, and ease of installation and maintenance. Additionally, they are provided with LEDs for the control power circuit and all control points to indicate "power on" and "point active". It is also important to note that these boards are very simplistic with no active circuitry or embedded control logic. All control logic is provided by the system's Programmable Logic Controller.
